Vessel Need Arises
Services or products needed for one of your vessels or an internal requisition form is filled on the portal by your Captain onboard the vessel or by Purchasing Manager.
Access Portal Online
Authorized person(s) will log in to Marine RFQ portal. Depending on the access rights, it is possible to turn the requisition form into a new sourcing event.
Select Port & Type of Service
Select the country and port where the service is needed. Then, select the appropriate type of services or products from Port Agent & Ship Chandler to Marine Surveyors and Admiralty Lawyers.
Define Type of Info Needed
Specify the type of service or product needed; quantity, delivery date, brands or any relevant information. Choose the type of request needed RFQ or RFP by using a saved or pre-existing template.
Submitting Request Form
Our huge marine directory will give you a list of all marine suppliers that meet your criteria. The RF(x) will be submitted to all with a click of a button. Adding or removing suppliers from the list can be accomplished easily.
Suppliers' Responses
All responses from suppliers to your RF(x) or auction are posted on one page, ranked and arranged according to any measures you have set, whether it be the price, delivery time or any other measure of your choice.
Analysis & Comparison
Depending on the authorization level and workflow defined into the system, authorized person(s) can compare and analyze suppliers responses and offers.
Awarding & Issuing POs
Select the right marine supplier & send them an award notice and issue an official PO all from the portal. While maintaining internal notifications and authorization levels for each action.
Invoice Management
Receive invoices from suppliers, have it automatically forwarded to a specific user for approval or verification. Cross check the invoices by a two or three-way checking.
